Fields of research
The fields of research are found within a triangle of agronomy, agricultural history and economic history and deals with Swedish as well as international matters concerning:

o Market- and subsistence oriented farming: characters, forms, functions and processes of change
o Agricultural politics, farm production and food supply during times of war and crisis
o History of animal husbandry, especially dairy cattle, including: socio-economic structures, land use, animal feed, labour, routines, gender and other aspects on methods of production.
